Rising Stars (Under 9s) |
Rising Stars is the starting point for many future Reds players. Aimed at kids under 9 years old, Rising Stars aims to teach newcomers to cricket the basics of the game through mini games and simple training drills. |
Under 11's |
Under 11's cricket introduces competitve games to young players. Regular training sessions provides players the chance to develop their skills with qualified coaches on hand to share their advice. In 2010, Cornwall under 10's was represented by 3 Reds players. |
Under 13's |
Under 13's are a vital part of Redruth's youth setup. Young players will be improving on their technique and will benefit from competing in regular hardball games. Some U-13s are also lucky enough to play for our lower senior teams. |
Under 15's |
Under 15's is the last stage of our full youth setup with older players expected to play for our senior sides. The U-15's compete frequently in league matches against other Cornish teams in order to give them regular match experience to take with them to Senior cricket. |
Under 17's |
Our U-17's only compete at the St Gluvias Festival. All our U-17s play for one of our senior teams where they get regular playing action and can develop their game in a competitive environment. |
