I am an Undergraduate student at Coventry University where I read Geography and Natural Hazards (BSc).
I currently act as the sole webmaster for the Redruth CC website which I created from a blank canvas back in 2009. Since launching the site in time for the 2010 season, I have taken it from strength to strength, with now over 300 pages and a style which no other cricket club in Cornwall has yet to beat.

What does my website offer to the club?
Creating a new website has allowed the club to be more flexible in how it promotes itself and its events to players and the general public.
I post results on a weekly basis during the summer which let members and followers alike keep up to date with the club's progress.
Bits about me
I have been involved with the cricket club since 2004 when I decided to take up cricket again after previously being part of the Perranarworthal youth setup which closed down when I was part of the U-11 squad.
I joined the Redruth U-15 sqaud uppon my arrival and after a brief period with them joined the senior teams. I play regularly for the 3rds and enjoy every minute of it.
During my Redruth 'career' I have played once for the 2nds as well as a few appearences for the 4ths. I have also coached a couple of youth teams during major festivals. My highlight being the 'B' team coach when we defeated our clubs 'A' team at St Gluvias. A truely memorable event for players and coaches!
I also work behind the bar after matches or during special events and occasionally guest DJ when needed.
Although I enjoy a big role within the club, the most important thing is to enjoy it and learn from your triumphs and faliures alike. At the end of the day, its just cricket!
