| 14/05/12 Victory for 1XI and 4XI, but 2XI and 4XI lose again The 1XI gained another impressive 20 point haul with a win over Penzance and there was a century for Neil Hornbuckle in the 111 run victory. Meanwhile the 4XI overcame Beacon in a game that saw nearly 500 runs at Clijah. Peter Bolland, 94 and Ben Hitchens with 84 ensured a comfortable 20 point win by 94 runs. Not such good news for the 2XI who lost to Truro 2XI by 80 runs although Rob Norwell took six Truro wickets. The 3XI were also soundly beaten at Ludgvan by 77 runs despite a defiant 46 from Darren Hearley. |

08/05/12 Victory for the Reds in Vinter Cup T20 Redruth cruised to victory tonight at Trewirgie with a 6 wicket win over St Gluvias in the 2nd round of the Vinter Cup. Neil Hornbuckle and Ben Stevens took 3 wickets each to bowl the visitors out for 84. In reply the Reds passed the target with ease to send them through to the next round. |

07/05/12 1XI go top of County 1 Redruth beat the weather to gain victory over Wadebridge 1XI. Redruth scored 249 for 9 in a game reduced to 45 overs after rain. In reply Wadebridge stuggled to 150 for 9 in their 45 overs meaning that Reds receive 19 points and go top of County 1. Report to follow |

28/04/12 Good wins for 2XI and 3XI After a winter full of much anticipation, Redruth finally kicked off the 2012 season. The 2nds bowled Leedstown out for 106 with Neil Hornbuckle claiming 5 wickets. In reply the Reds struggled to begin with but ran out 4 wicket winners. As for the 3rds they successfully chased down 88 against Goldsithney to claim 19 points. Unfortunately the 1XI and 4XI will have to wait another week, their games were called off due to damp pitches. Ladies outdoor training sessions to start on Monday 16th April, 6.30 to 8 pm. If poor weather on the night, ladies are asked to still attend, so that they can be issued with registration forms, provided with fixture list information etc. New members also needed |

Busy Winter ahead for Liam Norwell
Gloucestershire CCC and former Redruth regular Liam Norwell is preparing for a tough start to the 2012 season after he returns from a stress fracture he picked up early this year.

Senior Presentation Evening Report
The annual presentation evenings for the Senior teams provided a great round off to what has been a fine season for the club. The evening included a 3 course meal at the Penventon Hotel and a disco with music from none other than DJ Bolly. Report by Sarah Stevens HERE
Youth Presentation Evening Report
The club’s youth section has enjoyed a promising season of cricket with a considerable number of young cricketers also playing adult league cricket on a regular basis. Their season was rounded off with a Presentation evening on the 7th October. Reports by Sarah Stevens HERE
All Redruth teams came away from this weekends games with wins including the 4ths where Chris Pearn beat his own Club Record with a massive innings of 209. The 3rds won by 5 wickets with the 2nds edging home by just 17 runs. The 1sts also had a good win against Launceston where Neil Hornbuckle scored his first century for Redruth. He scored 108 in a total of 334.
He may have been struggling with runs recently but Chris Pearn made a big comeback scoring 209 runs against Goldsithney who were the oposition last time around where Pearn set the record with 201. He made his entrance in the 10th over at number 5 and hit 21 fours and 17 sixes in his innings. He was eventually out in the 37th over, helping his team to a mamoth total of 299. We as a club would like to congratulate Chris on his record breaking aheivement!

Our Clubhouse is situated in a manicured, attractive and open location overlooking the town. We have a function room with adjacent bar and kitchen and can accommodate up to 100 guests.
